About the Speaker
Peter J. Lancos is co‑founder and CEO of eXate, a data privacy and data access control platform that enables organisations to automatically enforce policies governing how data is protected, shared and accessed across business units and jurisdictions. Before founding eXate, he spent 30 years in the banking industry in a range of leadership roles, giving him deep experience of global risk, compliance and technology in financial markets. At eXate, Peter works with stakeholders spanning risk, compliance, IT, software engineering and data science to provide a single, globally compliant approach to data protection, particularly for cross‑border data transfers. He frequently speaks on topics such as data privacy, secure data sharing and the practical implementation of data protection in financial services and other highly regulated sectors.
